The President is to oversee all actions of the watch group and see to it that all projects and goals are carried out in a timely and effective manner. The President is to set goals for the group and administrate actions that will effectively obtain those goals set.
Vice President
The Vice President is to assist the President in overseeing the overall administrative functions of the Group. Vice President will be required to chair the group meetings in the absence of the President.
Head Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for keeping documentation of the issues covered in meetings. Secretary may be required to print and distribute flyers/literature regarding group meetings, etc. Secretary keeps an overall record of the functions of the group.
Secretary, along with treasurer, is responsible for maintaining financial records of the Group.
Neighborhood Advocate
A Neighborhood Advocate is responsible for documenting problems with the neighborhood that have been brought to the watch group’s attention by members or by residents. (Follow-ups on claims may be required). The advocate keeps a complete log of all problems observed in the neighborhood. All problems may have to be cleared by the President and voted on by the Group, before a solution can be executed.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for collecting dues and donations paid to the Group, and will keep current financial records of all monies deposited and withdrawn from the Group’s account.
Block Leader
A Block Leader leads their block by keeping it informed about various goals, projects, and accomplishments that the group may undergo. Residents can turn to their block leaders for advice and guidance in and about group actions. Block Leader keeps his or her block informed about upcoming news and events in the watch group.
